Govt. of Haryana with a commitment to deliver social and economic justice to the backward and under privileged sections of society, in 1980, constituted, Mewat Development Board, Haryana (MDB) under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Haryana with Ministers viz. Finance, Revenue, Agriculture, Industries, Development and Panchayats, Cooperation, Irrigation, Animal Husbandry and Power, all the M.Ps, MLAs of Mewat region, Chief Secretary, Secretaries of important departments and eminent persons of the region as official and non official members. Its executing agency at field level, Mewat Development Agency (MDA) was also formed simultaneously with the sole objective of ameliorating the condition of poverty, unemployment, economic and social backwardness of the Mewat region. The Mewat region comprises of six blocks at Nuh, Tauru, F.P. Jhirka, Nagina, Punhana of district Nuh and Hathin of district Palwal of Haryana State.
Mewat Development Agency an implementing Agency of MDB with an objective of promoting quality education as a key to prosperity in a distinct ethnic and socio cultural tract Mewat Area in 1982 made an experiment to start two Model Schools in Bhavans in English Medium for small children one at F.P. Jhirka and the other at Nuh. The District Administration under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad perceived the dream growing true. Hence, Mewat Model Schools Society was registered in Dec. 1984 with registration No. 513 of 1984-85 under Societies Registration Act 1860.This School is one of Model School run by the Mewat Development Agency(MDA) through Mewat Model Schools Society.
